Unexpected rains, hailstorms surprise Gujarat residents

Gujarati citizens were caught off guard on Sunday by unexpected rain and a hailstorm as the state saw intermittent rainfall in a few areas. According to news agency ANI, which cited the State Emergency Operation Center, Gandhinagar Gir Somnath, Gujarat recorded 38 mm of rainfall between 6 and 8 a.m. on Sunday, while Junagadh saw 35 mm, Amreli saw 13 mm, and Rajkot saw 6 mm. 

According to the Meteorological Department, "On Sunday, unseasonal rains began to fall over the entire state of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad. According to ANI's report, "winds started from the North East at a speed of five kilometers per hour amid heavy clouds."

In many parts of North Gujarat, South Gujarat, and Saurashtra, the rain started with strong winds.
