Chandra Vijay Singh is New DM of Ayodhya

Lucknow: In a major reshuffle, several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including district magistrates of Ayodhya and four other districts, have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh.

While Chandra Vijay Singh, the District Magistrate (DM) of Sonbhadra, has been made the new Ayodhya DM. Chandra Vijay Singh will replace Nitish Kumar who has been made the MD of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. Meanwhile, Badri Nath Singh, who was special secretary at Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhavan has been appointed as the new DM of Sonbhadra.

Nidhi Srivastav has been given the charge of Budaun district. Srivastav will replace Manoj Kumar, who will now assume charge as Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission.

Divya Mittal will now serve as Deoria DM, replacing Akhand Pratap Singh, who will take Mittal's place in the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Road Development Authority.

Vice Chairman (VC) of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Indra Mani Tripathi Has been appointed as the new DM of Auraiya, replacing Neha Prakash, who has been made the Director of Training and Employment, Uttar Pradesh.

Prathmesh Kumar, who was the Special Secretary with the CM, has been made the new VC of LDA.

Major Reshuffle in UP in June

Earlier on June 25, the state government had transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 8 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Several district magistrates, Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) were transferred in Uttar Pradesh.

As per the transfer list released by the state government, Sitapur DM Anuj Singh was reassigned to Moradabad, while Chitrakoot DM Abhishek Anand was given the charge of Sitapur.

Banda DM Durga Shakti Nagpal was moved to Lakhimpur Kheri. Nagendra Pratap, who was serving as the Special Secretary of the Ayush Department, was appointed as Banda DM while Kanpur Municipal Commissioner Shivsharanappa GN was made Chitrakoot DM.
