Viral Video: Dead Mouse In Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup Ordered Online | Watch

Concerns about food safety have been raised again after a disturbing incident went viral on social media. A woman, Prami Sridhar,recently shared that she discovered a dead mouse in a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup ordered through Zepto. 

In the viral video she poured some syrup onto a spoon and found a dead mouse with some hair strands inside the chocolate syrup.   

Prami Sridhar shared the video on Instagram with the caption ““We order Hershey's Chocolate syrup from zepto ,to eat with brownie cakes,we started with pouring with cakes .caughted small hair continuously.decided to open .the opening was sealed and intact .we opened and poured in disposable glass a thick and hard consistency of death (dead) rat dropped down.by washing in running water for confirmation. it's a dead (dead) rat”.

She also said three family members consumed the contaminated syrup before noticing the issue, and that one of them had to get a medical examination done. Despite two individuals showing no symptoms, one girl fainted after consuming the syrup and required hospitalization. 

Since being shared on instagram, the video crossed millions of views raising concerns among social media users. “You can sue them (Hershey) for this and report to food safety,” a user said. “Since the past few days, I am just horrified seeing so many unhygienic practices that I have stopped using so many packaged products and started eating only healthy and non packaged products I hope in future I can completely stop it. Our older generation lived a healthy life just because of it. Thank you for sharing,” another comment reads.
