Viral: Indian Techie Scores Exclusive Invite with Sam Altman After Bold Instagram DM

As a social media user we all have messaged our favourite celebrities on social media apps but most of us never got any reply. But recently an Indian techie has revealed how he got the exclusive interaction invite with Sam Altman and for that he just messaged him on Instagram. An Indian techie named Punit posted the screenshot of the conversation and said that he messaged Sam Altman requesting him an invite before Sam visited India last year. 

Sam Altman, the CEO of one of the most trending startups not only texted Punit back but also agreed to invite him to an event with developers at IIT-Delhi.

Punit shared the screengrab of the conversation with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. This is a year old conversation. 

He wrote in the text, “Heyyy sam,” Palial wrote to Altman according to the screenshot in June 2023. “Have been watching your videos since I was 16 years old. Is there any way I could get an invite to your Delhi event?”

And in the reply Sam said, “Sure,” and also gave him the email of one of the OpenAI employees to get in touch with him. 

Punit shared this image in a quoted post and in the reply he wrote, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” 

He also shared a picture last year with Sam Altman from the invite-only event at IIT-Delhi which he got to attend, because of this Instagram DM. In his post on X, he disclosed that Altman kicked off the Developers Roundtable Conference at IIT-D by inviting feedback on OpenAI's products.
