Bengaluru: Bangloreans were left astounded after spotting a red Tesla Model X SUV in the Minsk Square area near the Cubbon Park metro station here. The photos, capturing the vehicle instantly went viral, sparking discussions and funny reactions on social media. Taking to Twitter, North BangalorePost shared a picture of the Tesla car in Bengaluru traffic and informed that Tesla was testing its vehicles in the IT city, However, netizens refuted the claims.

One user wrote, “The car showing belongs to one who imported through CARNET from Dubai. Otherwise, a test drive vehicle would carry a number plate with red BG and white text colour."

Meanwhile, the Centre is in touch with US-based electric vehicle maker Tesla to consider setting up a manufacturing facility in India and Gujarat will approach the company at an appropriate time to ensure the state has a significant role in the future plans.
