Biryani Brawl: Customer Attacks Hyderabad Restaurant Waiters For Serving Cold Food, Video Goes Viral

Viral Video:  A huge brawl broke out at a hotel in Hyderabad after a customer allegedly attacked waiters for serving him cold biryani. The waiters then attacked the customer, apparently leading to the clash. The incident took place on New Year's Eve on December 31 after a family of five refused to pay for the dinner.  A video of the incident has also emerged on social media where waiters of Abids Grand Hotel can be seen attacking customers with sticks and chairs. 

Following the incident, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh spoke to the inspector of Abids police and directed them to file an FIR against the waiters and owners of the restaurant. Raja Singh also asked the police to arrest the waiters and owner. He also threatened officials to set ablaze the hotel if they failed to register the complaint. 

Hyderabad police have registered a case against the restaurant under IPC sections 324, 504, and 509. Besides, the restaurant management also filed a complaint and further investigations are underway. 

"The dispute at Grand Hotel occurred when a customer allegedly attacked a waiter for not serving hot biryani. Subsequently, other waiters retaliated, leading to a chaotic situation", Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Zone, Hyderabad told India Today.
