K Kavitha the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) stated that the Women's Reservation Bill does not cover OBC women and that "we will continue the fight until they are included" while on a two-day visit to the United Kingdom.

While speaking to the news agency ANI, Kavitha stated, "It's very important to include women from every stratum. When I say women, women of every caste, every community, every financial status, all of them are to be included. Unfortunately, this bill (Women's Reservation Bill) that we passed right now, does not include the OBC women. So we will continue the fight until they are included because they are a large section of our Indian society."

As one of the major proponents of increased female participation in India's political and democratic processes, MLC K Kavitha was invited by the Indian diaspora think tank "Bridge India," based in London.

When visiting the Ambedkar Museum in London on Friday, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha emphasised that only Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is capable of achieving Babasaheb Ambedkar's goals.

"I was very happy to know that when the formation of the Telangana state was happening then, in 2012, she (Kavitha) sat on a dharna demanding Baba Saheb's statue in the Telangana assembly, and later when the state was formed that statue was installed. It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Federation of Ambedkarite and Buddhist Organisations UK to welcome you," he stated.

The two-day schedule of MLC Kavitha includes interactions with members of the Indian diaspora, interactions with students, and  talks on cooperative projects. On the second day of her visit, MLC Kavitha will engage in a roundtable discussion with a group of NISAU students. She will attend a number of activities throughout the course of her two days in London.
