UPSC: Most Toughest Exam

Of all the exams in India, the Union Public Service Commission Civil Service Examination (UPSC CSE) is one of the most prestigious. Countless candidates get ready for the test each year. Only a small number ultimately make the final recommended list. Competitive, thorough, and consistent preparation is necessary to ace this test. Aspirants require unwavering moral, social, and financial support from family and friends to alleviate the monotony of the enormous workload.

Anudeep Durishetty: Quits Google

IAS Anudeep Durishetty was employed by Google as a software engineer following his graduation. But his desire to work as a civil servant drove him to resign from the lucrative position. His failed attempt at the UPSC CSE in 2012 was his first attempt. After that, he made another attempt in 2013 to get hired by the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). He was employed by the Customs and Central Excise department as an Assistant Commissioner.

UPSC Exam: Failed 4 Times

His attempts at the UPSC CSE exams persisted. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to obtain the desired outcome of becoming an IAS officer in 2014 and 2015. Nonetheless, his passion was not diminished by these repeated setbacks; on the contrary, they fueled his desire even more. As a result, he took the test fifth times in 2017. Incredibly, he not only made it onto the final recommended list of IAS candidates, but he also finished first in the UPSC CSE 2017 (AIR 01) exam without any coaching!
