Sagar Choudhary, from Kuchaman City, Rajasthan, reveals that his interest in collecting rare coins and notes started when he was in the seventh grade. Sagar mentions that his collection has 11,500 notes and coins.

The Sagar Choudhary collection showcases unique Indian currency that most wouldn't exist in today's era: coins bearing the figures of 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, and 525 paise and rupees. These are not just collections but glimpses of money changing over a period of time.

These coins are not just regular coins; they're like time capsules. Each one tells a part of India's rich economic and cultural history—how people used money and what places were once like. Some of the places shown on the coins are not on maps anymore, and some states have changed how they look.

And Sagar Choudhary's passion for the collection of ancient coins doesn't stop at borders. His collection goes beyond the rupee, with coins and notes from different countries adding a global dimension to his treasure collection of ancient coins and rupees. He shared a glimpse of coins from 140 countries. Indian currencies were used during the British colonial period. The collection spans notes and coins issued between 1917 and 1947, including the period of India’s partition.

For most, a coin's worth lies in its ability to buy a samosa. But for Sagar Choudhary, coins tell stories, whisper of history, and hold a priceless charm beyond their face value. All the different Indian coins and money he has collected prove how much he cares about them.
