A recent viral video has raised concerns as it shows a young boy attempting to walk a chained tiger. The video, shared by Lahore-based digital creator Nouman Hassan on Instagram, has gained significant attention and sparked a heated debate about the ethical treatment of wild animals.
In the video, the young boy can be seen confidently walking the chained tiger. Despite appearing calm initially, the tiger unexpectedly snaps at the boy, causing him to panic. A man with a stick intervenes, threatening the tiger, and the big cat flinches in response. The incident has since garnered over 15 lakh likes since it was shared on December 28.
While the video has received a considerable number of likes, many individuals took to the comments section to express their concerns and reprimand those responsible for placing the young boy in such a perilous situation. The incident has ignited a broader conversation about the dangers of keeping wild animals as pets and the need for stricter regulations.
This is not the first video from Pakistan showcasing individuals with domesticated big cats. Just a few weeks ago, a video went viral on Instagram featuring a lion cub sitting in the backseat of a car alongside a young man. The video, captured at a traffic stop by a wedding photographer, revealed that the tiger cub was 8 months old and named Mufasa.
