National Gallery of Modern Heart

Located in the heart of Delhi, this gallery is supported by the Ministry of Culture. It happens to be one of the most mesmerising art places for an art lover. It consists of works of famous artists like M.R. Acharekar, Arpana Caur, Thomas Daniell, and Rabindranath Tagore.

Gallery Escape 

This is the brainchild of Renu Modi, inspired by the legendary artist M F Hussain and her friend. Gallery Escape showcases beautiful paintings and sculptures that are a treat for all the art lovers. It is situated in the New Friends Colony area.

Delhi Art Gallery 

This gallery consists of modern artworks by artists from India as well as Europe. The artworks here showcase a strong influence of the western art movements and narrate the tale of Indian modernism. Situated in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas area, the gallery is open on all seven days of the week.

Exhibit 320 

Located in Lado Sarai, Exhibit 320 houses contemporary art from India. Contemporary artists like Sunoj D, Sumakshi Singh and Kumaresan Selvaraj have been showcased here. Not only a place for artwork but this gallery also hosts seminars, lectures, art sessions and related topics.

Museo Camera Centre for Photographic Arts

This museum is for those who are interested in the history of cameras and photography. With this, they also have a two-storied gallery where artists display their work. On one of the floors, the work of the photojournalist Kulwant Roy has been displayed. This place also includes an iconic image of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This gallery is located in DLF Phase 4 in Gurugram.

Gallerie Alternatives 

An initiative of Mrs. Mannu Dosaj, this gallery was inaugurated in 1999. This place also hosts special workshops on theatre. A quaint space, it includes paintings, drawings, and sculptures of many famous artists like M.F. Husain, Abanindarnath Tagore, S.H. Raza, and many more. It also features artworks from artists from Denmark, Spain, Germany and Australia.
