Nourish your skin by including body butter in your daily body care regime, here’s how
From containing the richness of shea butter to the richness of almond oil, here is how a body butter will benefit your skin.
Body butter is a moituriser but only thicker and more hydrating. It typically contains shea butter, coconut oil or other vegetable-based oils and butters. You will usually find body butter in a jar because of its consistency. During the winter, body butter will be your best skin care friend.
Usually, body butters contain a high amount of natural butter like shea or cocoa butter. The natural oils that it contains are usually argan, jojoba, and almond. Body butter usually comes in different fragrances and is usually very soothing to the skin.
Here is why you should include body butter in your regular body care regime.
A savior for freshly shaved legs
If you are someone who avoids waxing and prefers shaving, body butter is a must have for you. All you have to do is just warm up a bit of body butter between your palms and massage it gently all over your skin. You can do this pre-shaving and also post-shaving to see results. This will not only make your skin smooth but also keep it hydrated all day long.
Dry patches
Body butter works like magic on dry patches both on your knees and elbows. Make sure you have a small box of body butter in your work bag, bed side, and everywhere you go. If it is easily accessible you can use it to nourish your skin properly. You can also apply multiple layers of this product.
Overnight moisture treatment
Apply body butter before bed for an intensive overnight moisturising treatment. Make sure that you lightly massage the body butter into the skin. This is because while you sleep, the body butter on your skin will have more time and it will soak into our skin. You can also pamper your feet by applying an extra layer before putting on a pair of cozy socks.
