The 77th British Academy Film Awards is currently underway at the Royal Festival Hall. The biggest names from the world of cinema marked their presence at the coveted red carpet ahead of the main ceremony. As it goes with any focal red carpet event, the sartorial choices of celebrities are once under the spotlight with certain names standing out with their pick of aesthetic.

Deepika Padukone represents her roots while Margot Robbie channels Barbie

Deepika Padukone, all set to present at the BAFTAs, ditched traditional couture silhouettes, as she opted for the evergreen and elegant nine yards. The actress walked the red carpet draped in a champagne white Sabyasachi saree. The shimmering ensemble stood embellished with silken tassels on the hem of the pallu, in a bright white gold. Smokey brown eyes, a heavy touch of bronzer, blush nude lips and a carefully crafted up-do, completed the look.

Margot Robbie on the other hand, opted to represent, arguably one of her most iconic roles to date, that of Barbie. Opting to turn out in satin, Margot's couture gown for the evening featured a two-toned A-lined gown. The paneled number framed the actress' curves in black from either side with an unmissable pop of plush pink down the center. A sequined superimposed bustier with a neat sweetheart neckline and arm-high opera gloves in black, completed the look.

Lily Collins goes back to vintage while Florence Pugh adds a dash of Dune

Lily Collins walked the red carpet in a classic black and white colour palette. the velvet A-line body of her gown carried a three-dimensional bust, crusted with silver roses and vines. The aesthetic of the rose carried itself over to the off-the-shoulders puffed sleeves carrying motif-sized rose swirls in white.

Florence Pugh on the other hand, who will next be seen in Dune: Part Two, brought forth a touch of the future in her structured silhouette. A holographic silver corset with a black bustier, stood paired with a flared gown skirt wrapping over her back. Slick backed short blonde hair and a statement diamond necklace added the final details.
