It is that time of the year again when the Miss Universe pageant is gearing up to crown another hopeful and capable beauty queen who will carry forward the reigns of the organisation's noble work. Representing India at José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador - where the pageant and subsequent crowing is set to be held - is Shweta Sharda. But who is the 23-year old Miss Diva Universe 2023?

Shweta Sharda hails from Chandigarh
Shweta Sharda is originally from Chandigarh. She moved to Mumbai at the age of 16 with her mother. She eventually went onto pursue her bachelors from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Sharda's true passion however, has always been dance and choreography. The biggest testament to this is the pageant queen's persistent participation in several dance reality shows in her early years. She also progressed to work as a choreographer for a leading dance reality show.
Speaking about Sharda's passion for dance, the 23-year old is a self-taught artist. She has been greatly lauded for her technical prowess in the past despite being self-taught. She also recently featured in the music video of the song Mast Aankhein by Jubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar opposite Shantanu Maheshwari. As she competed against 15 other women at the Miss Diva Universe pageant, she won the accolades of Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Talented also making it to the top 5 for Miss Photogenic and the top 6 for Miss Rampwalk.
