What is Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam?
In Telugu, "Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam" means "crushing wheat, stone, and turmeric together." This is a traditional South Indian pre-wedding ceremony that signifies the start of the wedding festivities. The ceremony involves rituals like pounding turmeric, which is then applied to both the bride and groom as part of the symbolic blessings for their future together.
