As his love for these treats grew, he assembled a team of young boys to aid him in his delicious escapades. To safeguard their prized curd and makhan, the women of the neighbourhood would hang earthen pots from their ceilings, cleverly exploiting Krishna's diminutive stature. However, the determined Lord Krishna was undeterred and devised a cunning solution – he and his boyish brigade formed towering human pyramids to reach the coveted pots.

Celebrating Dahi Handi

Dahi Handi is characterised by an earthen pot filled with milk, curd, butter, and various dairy products. This pot is suspended several floors above the ground, tantalisingly out of reach. A group of young men, inspired by Lord Krishna's legendary exploits, assemble to form a human pyramid. Their mission: to break open the Dahi Handi pot and claim its dairy treasures.

In a nod to the resistance faced by young Krishna, women representing the neighbourhood's female troops take on the role of defenders. Armed with water and slippery substances, they shower the human pyramid in an attempt to thwart their mission. The atmosphere is charged with excitement as the participants navigate the slippery slopes, working together to achieve their goals. The climax of the celebration involves using a sturdy stick to strike the Dahi Handi and release its contents, symbolising the victory of good over evil.
