Raksha Bandhan: Shubh muharat

The Shubh Muhurat, or auspicious time for performing the Rakhi ceremony, will be between 1:30 PM and 8:27 PM. This period is considered ideal for conducting the rituals, avoiding the Bhadra Kala, an inauspicious time that affects the ceremony's timing. On August 19, Bhadra Kala will occur in two segments: from 9:51 AM to 10:53 AM and from 10:53 AM to 1:30 PM. To ensure the ritual's success, it is recommended to avoid performing the Rakhi tying during these intervals.

The afternoon has an especially auspicious time slot from 1:30 PM to 3:39 PM, while the Pradosh Period, another favorable time, runs from 6:12 PM to 8:27 PM.
