In recent times, with the rise of the internet, people have learned the art of upcycling instead of throwing away leftover food. Referring to upcycling, in a recent viral video shared by an Instagram user named taste.thee.best, we see a man deep-frying a leftover roti in a pan full of hot oil.

While the creativity was lauded by many Instagram users, others pointed out that this idea was nothing new and was similar to an existing dish, milk bread.
