Tired of your oily skin? Still suffering from acne problems? Do not worry. Here are 5 simple and easy face packs that you can make at home and it will be exactly what the doctor ordered. These face packs are entirely natural and safe and a a cost efficient solution for oily skin. .

1.       Aloe Vera and Honey Face Pack

Honey is a natural antioxidant and also contains antibacterial properties and is a great solution for oily skin. It eliminates bacteria, moisturizing and nourishing the skin. It helps reduce oil secretion which in turn prevents pimples and acne from coming back. Aloe Vera, on the other hand, removes oil and dirt. It also nourishes the skin and helps shrink large pores. A combination of honey and aloe can easily treat oily skin. To make this pack you need one tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Mix them in a bowl and apply the paste gently on your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry your face by gently patting it. Apply this pack daily to get supple and moisturised skin.

2.       Multani mitti Face Pack

Multani mitti is a magic worker on oily skin. It soaks out the oil and dirt from the skin pores. You can use Multani mitti alone but this might dry out your skin. Use it with ingredients like rose water, milk, and aloe vera gel if you have combination skin. A mixture of multani mitti with any of these liquid solutions also heals acne, blemishes, and greasiness. This, in turn, makes your skin soft. You will need one tablespoon of Multani mitti, rose water and aloe vera gel each. Make a thick paste using the ingredients. You can also add a few drops of milk to avoid dryness. Apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. Do not forget to moisturise your skin afterwards.

3.       Kaolin and Cucumber Face Pack

Cucumbers cool and soothe the skin, and reduce puffiness. Kaolin clay is great on oily skin as it draws out the impurities. This is the perfect face pack for a warm summer’s day. You can also cut and add two slices of cucumber on your eyes for more cooling. Refrigerate one tablespoon of cucumber for 10-15 minutes. Mix it with the kaolin clay and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and later apply aloe vera gel to hydrate your skin.

4.       Turmeric and Honey Face Pack

Turmeric has ayurvedic properties and is a good healer. It also contains antimicrobial properties that eliminate pimple-causing bacteria. It removes excess oil from the face. Honey, on the other, is an antioxidant that also moisturises the skin and makes it soft. To make this pack, add one tablespoon of honey to half a tablespoon of turmeric. Mix it well and prepare a thick paste. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and gently pat dry. Apply this pack 2-3 times a week to get visible results.

5.       Besan and Curd Face Pack

Besan can absorb excess oil from the skin without drying it out, unlike other ingredients. It clears the pores, removes the toxins and maintains the pH balance of the skin. Curd moisturises the skin. Add one tablespoon of curd to one and a half tablespoon of besan powder. Mix it well. Apply the mixture to your face and neck. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel. Apply this pack 2-3 times a week to get distinct results.
