The 48-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a set of invigorating exercises that promise to make hitting the gym more appealing. Clad in ankle weights, Malaika demonstrated five exercises aimed at strengthening the back and hip flexors.

In her motivational Monday post, Malaika showcased a series of exercises including back extensions with twists, leg lifts, back leg lifts combined with opposite arm lifts, L-sit single leg raises over yoga blocks, and seated L-sit single leg raises over yoga blocks. Each exercise, performed with added ankle weights for an extra challenge, was recommended for 10 repetitions.

Strengthening the back and hip flexors is crucial, particularly for young adults who spend long hours seated. Neglecting these areas can lead to muscle imbalances, lower back pain, and poor posture. Regularly engaging in these exercises helps stabilize core muscles, improve posture, and counteract the adverse effects of prolonged sitting.
