NASA astronaut Nick Hague, who is currently at the ISS shared a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Rocky Mountains in Colorado from the space.

Washington: NASA astronaut Nick Hague, who is currently at the International Space Station shared a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Rocky Mountains in Colorado from space. 

Hague, who is  part of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission, is preparing to return to Earth following their mission aboard the International Space Station. The other astronauts who would be returning with him are Butch Wilmore, and Sunita Williams, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov.  

In a post on X, NASA astronaut Nick Hague also expressed his excitement about fellow U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, astronaut Nichole Ayers, who is set to arrive at the ISS on the Crew-10 Mission.

“What a beautiful sight to see the snow-covered Rockies in Colorado. Hey, Air Force Academy - hello down there! Soon, there will be two grads up here on the ISS, @astro_ayers and me. Go Falcons! Go Crew-10!”

Crew-10 Mission Launched

Four crew members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission launched at 7:03 p.m. EDT Friday from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida for a science expedition aboard the International Space Station.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket propelled the Dragon spacecraft into orbit carrying NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov.

Sunita Williams Closer To Homecoming 

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore went on what was meant to be an eight-day mission to the ISS aboard Boeing's Starliner in June 2024. 

However, technical issues on Starliner resulted in their delayed return. NASA has scheduled Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore's return on a SpaceX Dragon capsule.
