While people on Earth put their pants on one leg at a time, a video shows NASA astronauts opting for a unique approach.
In a video posted on X, an astronaut aboard the International Space Station (ISS) is seen demonstrating his ability to don his pants with both legs at once.
The footage, posted on February 21, features NASA astronaut Don Pettit as he descends through the air toward his trousers and jumps to wear it—two legs at a time.

Who is the Astronaut in the Video?
Born and raised in Silverton, Oregon, Donald Pettit was selected by NASA in 1996. The chemical engineer is best known for his orbital astrophotography and in-space inventions, such as the Zero G Cup. The 69-year-old is also NASA's oldest active astronaut.

Pettit graduated from Oregon State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. He later earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1983.
Currently, Pettit serves as a flight engineer and a member of the Expedition 72 crew aboard the International Space Station, where he will spend approximately six months conducting science experiments and maintaining the space station.
