Aguero to miss Brighton match through self-isolation: Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed on Tuesday that striker Sergio Aguero will miss the following day's English Premier League meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion as he is in quarantine.

Aguero is in self-isolation after coming into contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Argentina international has given a negative test but must remain in quarantine, in line with UK protocol.

It has been a fitful season to date for Aguero, who has only been able to start three matches of the campaign after recovering from knee surgery.
