Kylian Mbappe is one of the 30 players nominated for the 2022 Ballon d'Or but there is no doubt who he believes should win this year's award.

He is reported to have said - "Karim Benzema just had the season of his life at 34 years of age, being decisive in winning another Champions League.

"If he doesn't win it, I'll stop believing in the Ballon d'Or forever.

"Real Madrid are a Ballon d'Or machine, you have to admit that."

He went on to speak about his chances of winning this prize one day.

"It's important to keep my feet on the ground, but I'm convinced that one day I can win the Ballon d'Or while at PSG," he said.

"It's hypocritical when players say they don't care about the Ballon d'Or, as we all think about it.

When asked who should be at the top of the list he said,

"My top three? I'd say Benzema, myself and Sadio Mane," Mbappe stated.
