Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta described the FA Cup as "our competition" on Friday as he looked ahead to Sunday's quarter-final at Sheffield United.

"This football club has won it more times than anyone else in this country and the players are excited," he said.

Arteta was also asked to respond to rumours that 21-year-old French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi would be open to a move away from The Emirates.

"All the players that are here, I'm counting on them," he said. "If they want to jump on the boat, they are more than welcome and that's always my mindset."

Arteta also paid tribute to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool and their achievement of winning the English Premier League title with seven games to spare.
