Albert Pujols homers in return to St. Louis as a Dodger

Albert Pujols smashed a home run in his first return to St. Louis Cardinals' Busch Stadium as a Dodger on Tuesday (7 September).

Fans gave Pujols, a former Cardinals player, a standing ovation when he stepped into the batter's box in the first inning for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

And Pujols duly delivered with a 386-feet solo shot to get the Cardinals fans back on their feet.

It was Pujols' 679th career homer.
