Monkeys spoil Uni-Lions first home game with fans 17-10 in CPBL

The CPBL leading Rakuten Monkeys spoiled the Uni-Lions first home game with fans on Tuesday when they won a 17-10 slugfest in Tainan, Taiwan. The game marked the first home appearance for the Uni-Lions after Taiwan health officials cleared the CPBL last Friday to start allowing a small number of fans per entry game with the coronavirus outbreak under control. The Uni-Lions hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to extend their league record streak of games with a home run to seventeen.
