In the final SmackDown before WWE SmackDown a plethora of talking points emerged and it was topped by the main event which turned out to be surprising as well as entertaining. Thus, without further ado let's find out what transpired at the Friday Night SmackDown.

This week's WWE SmackDown showcased superstars like Austin Theory, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy and Jey Uso, LA Knight, Charlotte, Cody Rhodes, etc, in action. Besides these, 16-time World Champion John Cena also made his presence felt and delivered an AA as well. When it comes to match action, a total of 4 fights took place at the weekly show. - Asuka and Charlotte Flair vs Damage CTRL: The action begun with some tag action. It was the unlikely team of Charlotte and Asuka, who for a change joined hands. The allies cum enemies synced in together and ot the victory over Damage CTRL
- Bobby Lashley vs Rey Mysterio: In a competitive match, which saw several interferences from their respective factions, it was Bobby Lashley, who got the last laugh. Lashley secured a pinfall victory over the Hall of Famer.
- Dragon Lee vs Austin Theory: Austin Theory's plight continues as he lost to Dragon Lee.
- LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso: In the main event, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight squared off. Both fighters had momentum at some point in the match. However, just when Knight was about to edge out, Solo Sikoa barged in and attacked LA Knight. Sikoa's action disqualified USO and hence Knight was declared the winner. However, the ringing of the bell did not make much difference as the action continued. Fastlane arrived a little early as John Cena came in, to even things out against Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso. The Judgment Day joined Jimmy and Sikoa. As the numbers game was going to get better of Cena and Knight, in came Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes
