Monday night WWE RAW brought down the curtains on the two-night extravaganza of WWE draft. At the end of the night, very few WWE superstars switched brands. Brock Lesnar and Charlotte Flair were among the stars to switch brands -- decidedly as Charlotte Flair lost to Bayley on SmackDown and Brock Lesnar defeated SmackDown star Kofi Kingston to become the WWE Champion.
Meanwhile, one of the main events on WWE RAW saw Seth Rollins vow to hunt down The Fiend. By the end of the night, Seth Rollins entered the Firefly Fun House and burnt it down. While the drafts saw the Universal Champion and The Fiend end up on different brands, this might not be the end of their storyline. On Monday night, the WWE Universal Champion appeared on RAW, vowing to go 'Fiend hunting.' Later in the night, Seth Rollins was seen entering Firefly Funhouse and pummeling Wyatt, who begged for mercy. In the final scenes, Rollins set the table on fire and flipped it. It was also announced that Seth Rollins would fight The Fiend in a falls count anywhere match for the WWE Universal Championship.
The rivalry between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair has kept their fans invested in their matches. The two women had one-hell of an opening match on Monday night, as they fought to see which brand will have the first pick for the night. The match ended in the most interesting fashion as Charlotte Flair got increasingly frustrated with her inability to put Lynch away for counts. As she sat on the ring floor and pouted, Lynch hit her with a crucifix pin for a win.
The drafts brought both Aleister Black and Ricochet to RAW. Fans can hope that now that both the stars are on the roster for RAW, they will get some kind of storyline that will do merit to the duo who share fantastic in-ring chemistry. Meanwhile, Black and Ricochet had convincing victories on Monday against Eric Young and Shelton Benjamin, respectively.
The OC lived up to the notorious reputation as they attacked Street Profits backstage. The latter were celebrating their enlistment to RAW. Later in the night, the Street Profits informed The OC that they would tangle soon. A six-man tag match was announced on social media to be held on the show. However, it never materialised.
Moments after being drafted to RAW, Andrade defeated Ali on Monday night, thanks to all the help from Zelina Vega. The match gave the audience a good glimpse of El Idolo. The outcome of the match was majorly impacted byVega, who blocked Ali from diving to the floor and then hit him when the referee was not looking.
