Former NBA great Tony Parker celebrates his 38th birthday on May 17th.
The 1.88-metre Belgian-born Frenchman was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the 2001 draft - and rapidly become the team's starting point guard.
Parker won NBA championships in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014 - and was selected for six NBA All-Star games.
After 17 seasons in Texas, Parker spent a year with the Charlotte Hornets before retiring in June 2019.

His interest in basketball continues - Parker is the majority shareholder and president of leading French club ASVEL.
