Boston reliever Hirokazu Sawamura allowed his first MLB run in the Red Sox game against the Minnesota Twins Thursday (15 April).
Miguel Sano led off the bottom of the sixth inning and hit a 1-1 pitch from the Japanese right-hander over the wall in left field.
Sawamura, who would get the next three batters out in order, had thrown five and one-thirds shutout innings to begin his MLB career.
