Cristiano Ronaldo dedicates his goal to his son Cristiano Jr. in a heartwarming moment
Over his legendary career, Cristiano Ronaldo has accumulated an amazing set of records; as he approaches the end of his playing years, he hopes to inspire the next generation of goal-scoring stars.
The Portuguese star is particularly hopeful that his child will become one of these future superstars. Ronaldo keeps shining in his way; his kid has been lucky enough to see his father's genius on the pitch with Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo returned triumphally by netting a penalty against Al Ettifaq on September 20, marking his 902nd career goal after a frustrating match without his team’s full support in his previous league encounter and missing the AFC Champions League start due to sickness.
This achievement came just a few weeks after his celebration of surpassing the 900-goal mark. Following a record-breaking performance which he scored 35 goals in the previous Saudi Pro League season, he already has eight goals in seven games this season.
Ronaldo saw his son in the grandstand during his celebration and gestured with three fingers, a tribute to the two goals Ronaldo Jr. had scored for the Al Nassr youth team earlier that day.
Cristiano Ronaldo wants his son to continue his legacy after he retires, as the soon-to-be 40 Portuguese legend is in the last stage of his playing career. However, his incredible performances at an age when most footballers have retired speak volumes. And given his recent performances, it seems clear that he will continue for at least 2–3 more seasons.
Ronaldo's family environment also included social media, as his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, posted a video on her Instagram account showing their girls dancing while a replay of the penalty kick played in the background.
