Hansi Flick Reacts To Dani Olmo's Dream Debut
Barcelona have now made it 3-wins in 3-games and things are looking up for the Catalan club. Manager Hansi Flick was full of praises for his side and the resilience they showed.
“That’s why [Dani Olmo] is on our team. The first few minutes were not good for us, we didn’t press well, we couldn’t make any combinations, but in the second half the team and Dani played a great match. When you look at the results from the last few years we expected a difficult match, but tonight we managed to win. In the second half we made good combinations and we got three more points, and it’s now nine out of nine,” said Flick reacting to Barcelona's win and Dani Olmo's late winner against Vallecano.
Hansi Flick Provides Insight Into Marc Bernal's Situation
The match saw Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal getting injured in the final few minutes of the match. Barcelona have suspected the youngster has suffered from an ACL injury and could be out for a while.
"It's a sad victory because Marc Bernal is injured and it looks not so good. We have to wait and see how heavy it is. We win, it's OK, but when you see the dressing room nobody is happy. It's not good. He made a fantastic match -- 17-years-old, such a performance. It hurts," said Flick in the post-match press conference.
Marc Bernal has been one of the key instruments in Barcelona's performances this season as the youngster made his debut in the opening game of LaLiga after impressing Hansi Flick during the pre-season.
