With an outstanding record of 5 Ballon d'Or awards to his credit, Cristiano Ronaldo generally rules the debate on the best players of all time. Renowned as the world's best top goal scorer, Ronaldo's extraordinary abilities and successes confirm his status as a footballing superstar for decades. Turning 40 soon, he has shown no signs of stopping and has been a very top player for Al-Nassr. However, despite his world-class performances, his team lacks the strength to reach his standards.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly demands Al-Nassr sign Manchester City ’s Kevin De Bruyne

Al-Nassr is inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo to go after Manchester City 's important player Kevin De Bruyne. A Mundo Deportivo report claims that Ronaldo is urging the Saudi team to pay a shockingly $1 million weekly compensation to draw the Belgian player, who is reportedly looking to now plan the next phase of his career as his contract ends with Manchester City in June 2025.

Over recent years, De Bruyne has become among Europe's best midfield players. Under Pep Guardiola, he has been crucial for Manchester City 's success; he has helped six league titles in seven seasons and a miraculous continental triple two years ago.

Concerns regarding De Bruyne's future performance at an elite level have surfaced as he approaches the end of his career and negotiates recent injuries. His contract is running down, hence, he may be a free bird next summer. On the other hand, the prolific goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo expects world-class balls so that he can lead Al-Nassr to glory with his goals and De Bruyne is arguably the best playmaker in recent times.

Given his existing contract status, Ronaldo thinks it would be tough for the former Chelsea player to turn down a rich offer. The Al-Nassr skipper views De Bruyne's inclusion as a means of bolstering their place in the Saudi Pro League.

Though rumours of De Bruyne travelling to Saudi Arabia during the summer surfaced, the move finally went through. Recent high-profile players for the Saudi Pro League have drawn attention ever since CR& joined the Middle East in 2023; De Bruyne would find great attraction in the possibility of playing with Ronaldo while still making significant pay.

Reports suggest, meantime, that Manchester City is negotiating with De Bruyne on contract extension. If he chooses to remain with the team, however, the new contract may call for a large pay drop from his weekly wage of £375,000.

De Bruyne said in 2020 that he wanted to play alongside Ronaldo as he thought CR7's exceptional talents would improve his capacity to assist even with less-than-perfect deliveries. According to Football Daily, Kevin De Bruyne once said:

"I would like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. I would definitely have more assists with Cristiano. I could cross the ball three metres too high and know he is still going to get it. He would help me a lot'',

Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin De Bruyne could be a storm of goals and assists. However, there is nothing official about the anticipated speculation.
