One of their young stars, Joao Feliz, turned out to be the hero of the day as he lifted Barca over his parent team with a chipper goal. What's more iconic was that Felix had a unique celebration in mind, which comes from another legendary La Liga striker.

Joao Felix reveals the reason for doing a unique celebration
Joao Felix, the FC Barcelona loanee had a terrific day as he went against his parent club, Atletico Madrid, in a La Liga encounter. It was a neck-to-neck game, but Felix managed to pull off a stunner after finding the net in the 28th minute of the game. The Blaugrana had the lead as Atletico failed to score a goal in the game. After pulling off the goal, Felix did a Jude Bellingham after doing his iconic celebratory pose of raising both hands in the air. The striker then explained the reason for doing the celebratory gesture in the post-match conference.

'People have been talking about me all week, but I don't pay attention to that. I'm just doing my job. I don't care what people say, I work every day to become better. The celebration was spontaneous. It was a release of what I had been through last summer. It was for my family,' He added.

Will FC Barcelona sign the superstar loanee in the squad?
Joao Felix came up on a loan to FC Barcelona and had a better run than what he had in Atletico Madrid. There are strong rumours that the Catalan club could sign the striker, but their financial troubles could be a major roadblock for them from signing the young star.
Interestingly, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo said he would welcome Felix back into the club in case FC Barcelona fail to strike a deal with him.
