Against Salernitana, Lautaro Martinez put on an incredible display for Inter Milan, scoring four goals after entering the game as a second-half substitute. At 0-0, the score stood as he took the pitch in the 55th minute. Then the World Cup winner scored four goals in the next half-hour, putting Inter into a commanding 4-0 lead. How many goals has Lautaro Martinez scored so far?

Martinez currently leads the top goal-scoring chart of the Serie A and has now scored 9 goals in his last 7 matches for Inter Milan. The fight for the Golden Boot is hard, as Napoli’s Victor Oshimen is the second top goal scorer so far with 5 goals in 7 games. AC Milan star striker Olivier Giroud is the third-highest goalscorer with 4 goals in 6 games. It is visible that Martinez has taken an early edge in the chart so far, and if he continues to score at this rate, he can lead Inter Milan to another Serie A trophy this season.
