Sydney FC win A-League Grand Final 1-0 in extra time over Melbourne City

Rhyan Grant scored the winner in the 100th minute as Sydney FC defeated Melbourne City 1-0 in extra time to win the Australian A-League Grand Final on Sunday in Sydney.

Melbourne had a goal by Harrison Delbridge in the 18th minute disallowed after VAR a review when City's Lachlan Wales was ruled to have impaired the vision of Sydney goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne while standing in an offside position.

Sydney FC win the A-League title for second year in a row and fourth time in the last five seasons while claiming a record fifth championship overall.
