McLaren BRUTALLY TROLLS Oscar Piastri ahead of India vs England T20 World Cup semi final

The T20 World Cup 2024 fever has caught up to the Formula 1 grid as well and as teams prepare for Austrian Grand Prix 2024, McLaren F1 team found some time to poke fun at one of their drivers regarding T20 World Cup. 

England will face India in the semi finals of T20 World Cup 2024 at Providence stadium in Guyana while Australia were knocked out of the Super 8 of the tournament and failed to advance to the semi final.  

Ahead of England's semi final clash with India, British F1 team McLaren brutally trolled the team's Aussie driver Oscar Piastri.

McLaren brutally trolls Oscar Piastri ahead of India vs England Semi Final 

McLaren are all set to cheer on for England in the T20 World Cup semi final against India but they did not forget to poke fun at their Aussie driver Oscar Piastri. 

Oscar Piastri is a passionate Australian Cricket fan and at a number of occasions been bullish about his country's successes in the sport. However, the premature exit from T20 World Cup was too good an opportunity for McLaren to pass upon.

In a social media post they brutally trolled Oscar Piastri saying, “We were saving these pictures for when England played Australia at this stage, but we're not sure the Aussies got the memo”, read the caption as they shared Piastri's and his teammate Britain's Lando Norris' photo alongside the World Cup trophy.

This is certainly a brutal dig by McLren on their star driver and it will be interesting to see how Oscar Piastri reacts. 

As England takes on India in the semis and the T20 World Cup final scheduled for this weekend, Oscar Piastri will look to bounce back and get his season back on track when he steps inside the cockpit of McLaren for the Austrian Grand Prix 2024.
