Dana White comes up with a pleasant surprise for all the UFC fans
As has often been the case in the past, UFC CEO Dana White has once again conveyed to the world the advanced planning of the foremost MMA promotion of the world. This time not one, not two, but three title fights have been announced by the UFC ruler. At UFC 297, the new Middleweight King Sean Strickland will vie to defend his title against the hard-hitting Dricus du Plessis. The event will take place in Toronto, on January 20, 2024. Besides this, the Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski will return to his division again and compete against the formidable Ilia Tapuria. The third match-up listed by White can be defined as one of the most-anticipated rematches of all time. It will be Sean O'Malley vs Marlon Vera for the Bantamweight strap.

When could these fights take place?
Aside from the Strickland vs Du Plessis fight, no other fight is currently part of a fight card, and the venues are yet to be finalized. However, as all the fights are expected to be held during the first quarter of next year, thus, it would be intriguing to contemplate whether both encounters will headline different PPVs or will be attached to a single one. While it would be a rare scenario if both fights get placed on the same card, one could expect UFC 298 and UFC 299 to harbor these feature fights.
