Andrey Rublev has been one of the potent force in the tennis circuit currently. The Russian tennis player recently was tamed down by his good friend Daniil Medvedev in the Nitto ATP Finals. The score line read 6-4, 6-2 in Medvedev's favour.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Andrey Rublev in the Nitto ATP finals
Nitto ATP Finals is the year end tournament in the ATP calendar which allows world's top eight singles player to contest in the tournament. Rublev got the better of his Russian counterpart last time but this time it was Medvedev who ran away with the match point. Medvedev's win has seen him bettering his head to head record against Rublev to 7-2 in ATP finals.

On the other hand, Carlos Alcaraz lost his match against Alexander Zverev and will square up against Rublev in the next game. Comparing both his compatriots, Rublev claimed that the difference between Alcaraz and Medvedev is that the latter kills you slowly.

"He's like when someone kill you slowly you know and you feel it that you are dying. If Alcaraz kill you fast and sometimes you don't notice, Medvedev is killing you slowly. He's over there, taking his time, enjoying the moment and you feel like you are dying little by little you know," he told Tennis TV."
Zverev, Alcaraz, Medvedev and Rublev are pitted in the Red group while Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Holger Rune are a part of the Green group. Both Djokovic and Sinner started their campaign with a win and now have an upper hand over their opponents.
