Angelique Kerber speaks in German after first round exit

Former Australian Open champion and three-time grand slam winner Angelique Kerber spoke to the German media after losing the first round in straight sets to American Bernarda Pera.

The 23rd seed, one of the players forced into hard lockdown prior to the tournament, limped through the first set and was beaten 6-0, 6-4.
