'Feel for Rafa': Nick Kyrgios shares his thoughts for Rafael Nadal after he pulled out of AO 2024

The much-anticipated return of tennis icon Rafael Nadal has hit an abrupt boulder as the Spaniard has offered a new health update. Rafa has pulled out of the Australian Open after revealing that he has sustained an injury and will not partake in the majors event. The update has upset the fans, as they were eager to see the tennis great back in action after nearly a year. After Nadal shared the update, a tennis player reacted to it.

Nick Kyrgios opens up on Rafael Nadal after Spaniard pulls out of 2024 AO 

Australian Tennis player Nick Kyrgios has opened up after Rafael Nadal opted out of the Australian Open 2024. Since the Spaniard was supposed to compete in the majors event, it will be a bummer to not see him in action in Australia. After Nadal shared the news, Kyrgios took to X (Formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on not seeing Nadal in action at AO. He tweeted,

Rafael Nadal reveals the extent of his injury

Rafael Nadal came off a long injury hiatus in the Brisbane International and presented quite a display. He showcased a decent performance and won two matches in the Men's Singles but lost in the quarterfinal. However, the Spaniard sustained an injury that will keep him off action for a while.

'Hi all, during my last match in Brisbane I had a small problem on a muscle that as you know made me worried. Once I got to Melbourne I have had the chance to make an MRI and I have micro tear on a muscle, not in the same part where I had the injury and that’s good news,' Rafa mentioned on X.

Now that Nadal has pulled out of AO, it is yet to be seen when will the Spaniard return to action.
