Australian Tennis star Nick Kyrgios has been dealing with several injuries throughout the year that took a hit on his career run. Kyrgios revealed that he has opted out of the AO for the second successive time, and there could be more unfortunate news for tennis fans all around the globe.

During his appearance on the 'On Purpose with Jay Shetty' Podcast, the 28-year-old Kyrgios opened up on taking up an early retirement.
I only want to play for about another one to two years, and be at the top, and go down my own terms.
I think I'll be at peace with everything I've achieved and ... I'm going to have to just say: 'Look, to everyone out there who wants me to play more, you're just going to have to be OK with me not playing anymore'.

Kyrgios will be at AO despite opting out of competitive action
While Nick Kyrgios will not return to action at the Australian Open, the fans will still be able to see him. But the Aussie tennis star will be in a different role and still be around at the majors event.
'I won't be able to compete in the 2024 Australian Open. But even though I won't be there competing this year at the AO, I will still be around, commentating matches. I've got some special things planned, so please be excited,' Kyrgios said via OnlyFans.
