ITF announces replacements for 2021 winners Russia in Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup

The world governing body for Tennis, the International Tennis Federation, announced on Monday that Serbia will replace Russia in the 2022 Davis Cup and Australia will take their place in this year's Billie Jean Cup.
Russia, the current champions in both competitions, and Belarus were both suspended from team competition by the ITF following the invasion of Ukraine.
Serbia and Australia are the highest ranked sides among the 2021 losing semi-finalists from the Davis Cup and Billie Jean Cup respectively.
