A week after losing to his compatriot in the semi-finals at Los Cabos, America's John Isner defeated Brandon Nakashima in Sunday's final of the Truist Atlanta Open. The 7-6(8), 7-5 win gave Isner his sixth title at the tournament.
The 2.08-metre 36-year-old hit 21 aces in game dominated by the serve. The former world number eight - now languishing at 35 - had to save two set points in the first. It didn't get much easier in the second.
