Two of Tennis' greatest superstars, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are set to lock horns for the one last time in Saudi Arabia. The final two of the Big Three in the realm of Tennis will meet in an exhibition clash, which means that the match will not affect their rankings. The match-up is significant, as Nadal and Djokovic will face off against each other for the last time after the Spaniard announced his retirement. The two legends will put an end to their passionate rivalry that has lasted for over fifteen years.

Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic Set To Clash For One Last Time In Riyadh Before Spaniard's Retirement

Rafael Nadal will have a chance to lock horns against one of his fiercest opponents, Novak Djokovic, before he calls time in his illustrious career. After battling in the Paris Olympics , where he lost 6-1, 6-4, they will now face each other in an exhibition event, the Six Kings Clash, in Saudi Arabia. The Nadal vs Djokovic match was set up after Rafa lost 6-3, 6-3 to Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals on Thursday. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic was beaten 6-2, 6-7(0), 6-4 by Jannik Sinner.

Nadal is particularly excited to play against Novak Djokovic, saying that it will be a nostalgic thing, and it will be fun to compete against him. “To have Novak in front of me, it’s like a nostalgic thing. We’ve played each other a lot, so it’ll be fun to play each other again in this match,” Nadal said while speaking to the reporters.

Rafa, the 22-time Grand Slam Champion, announced his retirement from professional action last week. Nadal revealed that he will play his farewell match in the Davis Cup tie for Spain in November 2024.

Speaking of the Six Kings Slam Final, Top-ranked Jannik Sinner will be facing Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the exhibition event, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The winner of the summit clash will bag the hefty price of $6 Million. But the attention will also remain in the third-place event when Rafa and Novak face off against each other for one last time in Saudi.
