It is worth noting that CM Punk left WWE in rather foul terms as he was unhappy with how he was booked. It led to the infamous pipe bomb, and he made his final appearance in the 2014 Royal Rumble. The former WWE Champion then made his way into UFC and eventually landed in AEW. However, he was let go following an incident at the All In PPV in London involving 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry.

Triple H opens up on CM Punk's return
The WWE Universe is still soaking in with the two mega returns that took place in Chicago. They witnessed Randy Orton in action and saw the long-awaited return of CM Punk. This has led to some intense buzz, as situations were tense among both parties nine years ago. But Triple H has an optimistic approach to Punk's return.
During the Survivor Series: War Games press conference, Triple H said:
Everybody grows, everybody changes. Punk is a different person, I'm a different person & this is a different company — If you’re still the same guy you were 10 years ago, you messed up. Everybody grows.
