Initial push and struggle
One of the biggest names in WWE today, Drew McIntyre first joined WWE in 2007 during the Florida Championship Wrestling which was followed by the more popular collaboration with WWE in 2009. The man was unrecognizable back in 2007. His first major feud was with R Truth and then picked up a fight with John Morrison for the WWE Intercontinental championship. He came in as a heel and, thus, used to get an intense reaction from the WWE Universe. However, his gimmick turned into a jobber and then he became that superstar who always loses. His part with the 3-member faction 3MB did not help his cause.

Return as a dominant figure
Eventually, he was released and made to make a name in other promotions. Following a struggle period he made his way back to the WWE in 2017. He was given an instant push and was portrayed in a dominant light. The dominance upped his stature so much so that he was built to face Brock Lesnar. In 2020, he conquered the beast and raised eyebrows by kicking out at an F5 after just one count. During his run as a WWE Champion, he defeated alphas like Randy Orton and Seth Rollins. He also had an intense rivalry with Roman Reigns, where it always seemed that McIntyre was the man, who could end the reign of the Tribal Chief. However, there was always someone to interfere and spoil the party. The losses against Reigns did not have an adverse effect on his status and now years have passed but Drew McIntyre remains a bankable name in the WWE.
