Former wrestling champion 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, has been arrested following a stabbing incident during a confrontation at a petrol station in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 15. The 58-year-old, who was working as a security guard at Love’s Travel Stop, claims he acted in self-defence.

According to reports, the altercation began when Scaggs instructed a man not to smoke inside the store, which led to a heated exchange. The man allegedly became confrontational, prompting both individuals to move outside where a physical altercation ensued. During the scuffle, Scaggs admitted to using a knife, resulting in multiple stab wounds to the man.

Police responded to find the victim with stab wounds to his head, chest, buttocks, legs, and abdomen. After receiving medical attention and stabilizing, the victim reportedly identified Scaggs as the aggressor.

Scaggs faces charges including first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He has been released on bail and pleaded not guilty, with a court date scheduled for next month.

2 Cold Scorpio, also known as Flash Funk, has a wrestling career spanning several decades, including notable stints with promotions like WWE and WCW. His last professional match was in 2021.

In the early 90s, Scaggs as 2 Cold Scorpio captured the WCW Tag Team Championship with Buff Bagwell, real name Marcus.
