The Road to WrestleMania 40 is officially underway as Royal Rumble 2024 is closing in. At the event, 30 men and 30 women will compete in their respective Rumble matches, and the winners will go on to headline the show of shows in April 2024. Let's take a look at the matches that have been announced till now.

• Men's Royal Rumble match: The much-admired Men's Royal Rumble match will feature 30 men colliding inside the squared circle. The winner will get to challenge the World Champion of his choice, and the title match will take place at WrestleMania 40.
• Women's Royal Rumble Match: Much like the men's match, the females' encounter also showcases similar stipulations and the winner will get the same prize. Ever since it was brought to the scene in 2018, this battle royal match has proved to be extremely entertaining and has got the thumbs up from the fans.
• Roman Reigns (WWE Universal Champion) vs Randy Orton vs AJ Styles vs LA Knight: The match became official on the January 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. While historically the title has seldom changed hands at Royal Rumble, in this Fatal-4-Way match the challenge would be manifold for Reigns and it would be intriguing to witness how the Tribal Chief tackles the odds.
• Logan Paul (United States Champion) vs Kevin Owens: After defeating Rey Mysterio at WWE Crown Jewel in November, Logan Paul the new WWE United States Champion has remained out of action. He will return at Royal Rumble 2024 and will put his title on the line against Kevin Owens.

Till now only four superstars- CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Bobby Lashley- have announced their participation in the Royal Rumble 2024 match. Besides them, 26 more men would enter the Rumble and some surprise returns could also be expected. There are speculations about The Rock entering the Royal Rumble too, hence, it is a spectacle in the making.

As for the female candidates, Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair have so far been the only entrants announced.
